    We use the collected data to:

    • Provide, operate, and maintain your Storage Tags account

    • Sync data across your devices via our cloud service

    • Improve app reliability and fix bugs through crash reporting

    We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

    3. Data Storage & Security

    All Storage Tags data is stored securely in Microsoft Azure Cloud.

    • Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS.

    • Data at rest is encrypted using AES 256-bit industry standard encryption.

    • We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

    4. Account and Data Deletion

    • Deleting an Account:

      • Deleting an account immediately removes all associated photos, descriptions, and storage location data from our servers.

      • We may retain your name and email to maintain login credentials and service records.

    • Permanent Deletion of User Data:

      • To delete your user profile entirely (name and email), you must contact our support team at team@storage-tags.com.

      • Once we process the request, all personally identifiable information will be permanently deleted.

    5. Data Retention

    • Item photos, descriptions, and storage data are deleted immediately upon account deletion.

    • Your name and email are retained until you request full deletion.

    6. Third-Party Services

    Storage Tags uses the following third-party services:

    • Google Crashlytics: For crash reporting and app performance analytics

    • Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: For optional account creation and login

    These services may collect limited information as required for authentication or app functionality.

    7. Children’s Privacy

    Storage Tags is intended for general audiences (ages 13+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

    8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website, and the Effective Date will be revised.
